Thank you for visiting The Pegasus Press website.  We are an independent, family-owned micro publishing business.  We currently focus on art biography, with a special interest in the work of early 20th century etchers.

The first book to be published by The Pegasus Press was the 2008 biography of artist and etcher Dorothy EG Woollard (1886-1986), with the first published catalogue raisonnee of her etched work.  Copies are still readily available  -  despite what it says on Amazon.

Our latest book is a biography of Hewitt Henry Rayner (1902-1957).  Titled An Australian artist in London: the untold story of Hewitt Henry Rayner (1902-1957) and his friendship with Walter Sickert.  Published in October 2013, the book is available via all good booksellers.
